In the last century, Vietnam was most famous for being a country in which two significant wars were fought. But today Vietnam is very different. Today Vietnam is a normal country but technology and knowledge is increasing over time. Now, more tourist from different countries entire the world come to visit Vietnam. Now, all over my country have many interesting places to visit like Ha Long Bay, Da Lat, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc Island,... 
Those are all my favorite places to visit in Vietnam. Now then about Ho Chi Minh City, has had more International Schools for Vietnamese students and other countries' students come and study. As one of the AIS students I've seen my country Vietnam has changed a lot, even people. Most of the people have had more money and became successful in their job. But also there are still poor people every where. Some children have there parents and their life is full with happiness but some don't have that beautiful fortune, the fortune they've always dreamed of. And the next problem is traffic jam, everyday traffic jam makes people life worst, and people who has important meeting or conference that's matter to their life and their business. 
Traffic jam made them late for those things. The reasons for this problem is people, because they don't mind about other people, beside they just care about themselves.And also there are more motorbikes and cars in Vietnam because people have had enough money to afford what they want. But they don't aware what's around them and what's going happen to them. Somehow, there are also people that mind about this situation and they've tried their best to stop it but all their works are hopeless because the government can't do nothing about it. However, there are still changes that is good for Vietnam like knowledge and contact with other countries. And Vietnam is slowly getting open to the world. Students have many chances to go to schools now, they're having a chance to study for their new future in front of them. Now, Vietnam main job is to export rice to other countries far away like America or Mexico. 
I'm really proud of Vietnam because it's the second country which products and exports a large amount of rice in the world. I love the way Vietnam has changed, I'm really glad that Vietnam has changed a lot in a very good way, but still there are some problems that need to fix very carefully.

Hi Alexei! Yes, I am older than you. I'm 19. The US is okay. It's life yanno? I've been to Vietnam when I was younger, like 16 or 17.
It's so different from over here.
summer is okay. i'm just taking summer classes. so i an get it out of the way until i go back to college. your english is so good. are you learning it in school as a second language?
my parents have taught me vietnamese ever since i was younger. so i know it for the most part. i can sort of write and read it.
i took american literature and economics for my summer classes.
